Remembering HIMYM in 2008

As we prepare to welcome 2009, let’s look back on 2008, and our favorite HIMYM moments!

Because this is the time of year for Top 10 lists, I thought it’d be only appropriate to end the year with one as well! Please note, these are not in any particular order. And the list includes suggestions that I received via Facebook and Twitter!

Top 10 Moments on HIMYM in 2008

1 ) Naked Man!

2 ) Barney’s Holiday Tunes (from Bill via Facebook).

3 ) Marshall singing “Let’s Go to the Mall” karaoke-style at The Hoser Bar.

4 ) Robin and Barney hooking up.

5 ) The “Sandcastles in the Sand” video, complete with cameos by Alan Thicke and Tiffany.

6 ) When Robin is drunk and playing hockey in the apartment, Ted breaks up the girl fight, and Barney punches the wall (from @callmelydia via Twitter)
(*Note from me: I nearly spit my drink while watching this scene, and Robin says “You’re nuttier than a Tim Horton’s maple log.” I’m Canadian, what can I say? We have hockey and Tim Horton’s coffee running in our veins :p)

7 ) When Robin discovers the floors in Marshall and Lily’s new apartment are sloped. (Why was this so funny? Because when I moved into my apartment a few years ago, I MADE THE SAME DISCOVERY!)

8 ) Not A Father’s Day.

9 ) The Bracket.

10 ) Barney’s “Rebound Bro”, Randy, played brilliantly by SNL’s Will Forte.
