Stinsonisms - Are You Using Them?

It seems that as each day goes by, more and more of HIMYM’s famous lines are everywhere, in particular, what I refer to as “Stinsonisms”. What exactly is a “Stinsonism”? A word, phrase or concept created, used or made famous by Barney Stinson. For example, the word “Legendary”, the phrase “Suit up”, or the “Bro Code” would all be “Stinsonisms”.

I first noticed it at a Starbucks, when their chalkboard said they were looking for “Legendary baristas”. Then the phrase “Wait for it” was used in 2 TV commercials over the past couple of months. And so many people are playing “Have you met …” including me and my friends. Then I used the phrase “Santa suit up” over the holidays.

What’s your favorite “Stinsonism”? Do you find that they are creeping into your life, too?
