HIMYM - The Musical Episode?

Does the future hold a musical episode for How I Met Your Mother?

Neil Patrick Harris would be game.

In an interview with AOL.com NPH had the following comments on the subject:

That would be hilarious! Jason [Segel] sings … Josh [Radnor] sings … I think Aly [Hannigan] is the odd woman out in that scenario, but maybe she could do some sort of rap … gangster rap. [Laughs] There was the one episode where she’s got some ghetto background. A cap sideways, pants on backwards … I can totally see it now. [Laughs] Yeah, that would be awesome.

I think a musical episode might be a great addition to Season 5. The cast definitely has the skills. And I think Alyson Hannigan would be able to hold her own. After all, she was part of the infamous “Once More, With Feeling” episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. What are your thoughts? Would you like to see a musical episode of HIMYM?

If any cast can pull off a musical episode its definitely HIMYM!

i would love to see a musical ep! how awesome would that be. just the thought of it makes me laugh, alyson and NPH would be fantastic and make it look effortless. it seems to me that they live their lives in song, no?
