I Love You, Man, the feature comedy starring Jason Segel, Paul Rudd and Rashida Jones, will make its debut at the SXSW Film Fest in Austin, Texas on March 13, 2009.
This will be the second year in a row that one of Segel’s films will kick off SXSW - Forgetting Sarah Marshall had the same honor at the 2008 festival.
In case you haven’t heard about this flick yet, here’s the summary, according to the IMDB:
Friendless Peter Klaven (Rudd) goes on a series of man-dates to find a Best Man for his wedding. But when his insta-bond his new B.F.F. (Segel) puts a strain on his relationship with his fiance (Jones) can the trio learn to live happily ever after?
I really enjoyed Forgetting Sarah Marshall, so I’m looking forward to this. If you won’t be able to see it at SXSW, it’ll be in theatres a week later, on March 20th.
