There are two places I get my comedy fix on a weekly basis - Monday nights with HIMYM, and Saturday nights with SNL. And on January 10, 2009, my comedy worlds will collide when Neil Patrick Harris becomes the first host of the new year on SNL! 2008 was definitely the “Year of NPH”, from his cameo in the Harold and Kumar sequel, to the internet sensation Dr. Horrible’s Singalong Blog, and of course his awesome portrayal of Barney Stinson on HIMYM. It appears that 2009 may just be another banner year for him, if the SNL hosting gig is an indicator of what the new year holds for him. Is anyone lucky enough to have tickets to SNL for January 10th? If you’re not one of the lucky few to be in NYC, will you be tuning in to SNL that night? You can be sure I’ll be tuned in!
